Structurally, the fiber has a hollow center, an uneven thickness distribution, and numerous fine grooves on its surface. During leakage, these fibers easily flow into the fractures without causing blockage at the entrance. Simultaneously, they adsorb other solid phases in the leak-sealing slurry, thereby forming an effective seal within the fractures.
